After a year and a half, I finally have made my first composition video for my FiddleLights project! Quintangle is a composition in three parts for viola and two violins. Now I’m working on a longer one for a submission next week. In this composition I combine my musical choices with various interesting shapes drawn by my bow hand. This creates a multi-level installation where the music and the drawings are inextricably entwined, in process as well as product.

I have also presented it in a format where the three parts are projected individually onto separate screens. This can be projected on three walls, surrounding the viewer on three sides. I’m hoping to present this at the Closet Gallery at ACAD sometime in the new year.
