FiddleLights Project Video
There are two video components of the “FiddleLights Project.” The first component includes Original Compositions in which I combine my musical choices with various interesting shapes drawn by my bow hand. This creates a multi-level installation where the music and the drawings are inextricably entwined, in process as well as product. The second set of videos FiddleTrails is part of my ongoing research in which the viewer can follow the trail of the bow hand movement while listening to the audio version of the tune. The three videos in this set are examples of the same traditional reel, Mason’s Apron performed by fiddlers of very different styles and traditions. The videos might take time to load.
